I got into modding by accident during a long period of illness. My first two projects were the EPA and Primitive Tribe and by my own admission, they're not my best work. I moved onto a mod called the Cold Hearts with Dude101 and whilst it was controversial, I enjoyed making it.

Since joining and subsequently resurrecting Mutants Rising, I have been the project coordinator and it's sole scripter. I've also tried my hand at art making, writing, mapping and basically picking up anything that needs doing. It is time consuming but very enjoyable work. It still amazes me how much has to be done behind the scenes to get the game to function correctly. Scripters never seem to get any credit!

Currently, I am preparing for my masters year in chemistry so my time is very limited, but I hope to still be around to see the project completed. After that, who knows? If Mutants Rising is well recieved then I have my eye on two further fallout projects. If it is not so well recieved then I may try my hand at thief modding.

"My relation to Fallout is a long story of awe and unrealistic dreams of making my own total conversion mod. Well, one cold January morning AD 2009, I decided to make these dreams come true and started working on Ardent's F2 Mod. I had to learn basically every aspect of Fallout modding and was successful enough to publish a demo of my mod at No Mutants Allowed in December of that same year.

Having the feeling of accomplishment, I offered to help out the poor souls at Mutants Rising who were complaining about low morale and lack of scripters. I thought this would be a quick fix and I'd be back working on my mod, but it turned out to be a major undertaking, full of challenges, but first and foremost, a very pleasant experience and an opportunity to make new friends.

My task in MR is mainly script-oriented. I rip apart the build, find bugs, squash them and add in new content/missing stuff/goodies/Easter eggs/etc. When the mod is completed, I'm planning to return full-time to my own creation."

I found Fallout by accident, and immediately fell in love with it. After lurking the NMA modding forums for years, and obsessively following the development of the community, I joined up to harass the modders into actually making something (hehe). Chris Parks picked up on a spam post I made about a thieves guild (Cold Hearts mod), and the rest is history.

Being useless at anything other than writing, I spend allot of time compiling modding information on the modding wiki (my pet project), which I stole from Ausir. I also try to bring Russian mods to the English community through Team MIB, and we have achieved allot. I personally believe I am a shining example of what useless noobs can achieve if they put their minds to it.

"Well, honestly, I have only been acquainted with Fallout since last November (2009) now. And since our meeting, I can't take my eyes off of my computer screen. Also, I have been engaging in a lot of Fallout-related things in the general community. It started at the Wiki's, where I quickly learned about Fallout and Fallout 2, and had to have them. Then, I added the modding wiki to my roster, and started working there a bit. I guess you can see what happened from there.

I saw a link to MR, and the rest is history. I am a noob-ish writer, but now that my time has become really free, I plan to be cleaning up the dialogues and various other things around this place. I aim to make the dialogue side of MR squeaky clean by the time I'm done.

My plans for later: don't really know yet. After the MR expansion is out, really anyone who wants the extra help for writing could get it; I enjoy working with Fallout mods."

Embedded systems engineer by profession, specialized in software development for microcontrollers and accused of being a modder of many shiny things during the years with projects varying from software and electronics to cars and games.

"I got into Fallout during 1998 and simply just loved the game. In 2004 I was introduced to MR by a former team member, mad, and offered my services as a musician. After that I've been more or less active member of the team and done lots of different things around MR forums and nowadays I'm refining my 3D skills by modeling talking heads."

Thanks to...

The admin guys at NMA for hosting our forum when were on the move (which is most of the time) and for their continued support of MR since we returned from the grave.

The BGE team for their help with artwork when we didn't have any artists.

The FMF team for their friendly rivalry. We wouldn't have been half as determined to succeed without their help.

Trolle for his continued interest in the mod. He's also been hosting both the website and the development forum for many years. Without him, we'd be really struggling!
